Winter Wardrobe challenge: Win £500 to spend in Next!

Yesterday I received a lovely email from Micaela regarding the Winter wardrobe challenge hosted by Amy at http://www.amyantoinette.com and from there I knew I really wanted to enter. I love doing challenges.

To enter, simply put together a blog post showing three winter outfits you've styled using Next's own brand collections. Show off your creative flair with mood boards, pictures, style notes and links to make show your blog posts are as creative and original as you like. Whether you showcase how to take a LBD from day to night or style an outfit for three different occasions - the choice is yours! Good luck!

More information can be found here.

Day - Outfit 1

For my first outfit i've gone for a simple day-time look, I think this outfit would be perfect for either uni/college or even a little shopping trip. It looks extremely comfy. I adore the jumper, the little zip on the back really sealed it for me. I paired it with a pair of leggings and gorgeous mix fabric parka, i've seen a lot of similar jackets around and this one would be perfect for Winter. I then chose a Black tote, Black and Rose watch and finished the look with Black studded hi tops.

Day - Outfit 2

For my second look I've chosen to do another casual day-time look. I think this outfit would be great for any occassion, maybe walking the dog, drinks with friends, a casual family meal etc. I first chose the jumper as I adore the colour! I then added a pair of skinny jeans and nude ballerinas. I also added a beautiful waxed coat too, I love the collar. To finish this outfit I added a Tan bag, Models own nail polish (lovely colour, right?!) and a Shima bracelet to match to jumper.

 Night

Finally for my third outfit i've gone for a night look, styled to wear to a Christmas party. I love the dress, beautiful colour and who doesn't love a bit of sparkle? I chose to add a belt as I think the dress looks quite bare on its own, I also added a leather jacket and flatforms (excellent alternative if you're not a lover of heels, like myself). I added a Black studded clutch and watch too and voila, outfit complete.

On a completely different note, I finally reached 25 followers yesterday! Thank-you to every, single one of you for following me. It means so much that you enjoy my blog enough to follow me.

So, there we have it three winter outfits. What do you think?
Love Alex
